Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 2026

Bulk Reply for Gmail (the "Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What Data We Collect

The Extension collects only the minimum information necessary to provide its core functionality:

  • Email address – used to identify your account and sync settings across your devices.

No email body content, attachments, or other personal information is ever read, collected, or transmitted.

2. How We Use Data

  • Core functionality. The Extension automates replying within your Gmail interface based on your direct actions. No email content is sent to our servers.
  • Diagnostic logs. The anonymized usage data described in Section 1 is sent to our server to help us identify bugs, improve stability, and understand feature usage. This data is never used for advertising or profiling.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Since the Extension does not collect any personal data, there is no processing of personal data under GDPR. All functionality is performed locally on your device.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Diagnostic server. Anonymized usage logs are stored temporarily on our server for debugging purposes. Logs are retained for a reasonable period and then deleted.
  • Local storage. The Extension uses Chrome's storage.local API to remember your anonymous identifier and preferences (such as whether you've seen the first-time setup reminder). storage.session is used to temporarily buffer diagnostic logs before they are sent. No email content or personal data is ever stored.
  • Gmail itself. When you reply to emails using this Extension, your replies are sent and stored by Gmail (Google) in your "Sent" folder, just like any normal reply.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. Anonymized diagnostic data is transmitted to our own server solely for the purposes described in this policy. No data is shared with advertisers, analytics companies, or any other third party.

6. Your Rights

Since the Extension does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. The anonymized diagnostic data we collect cannot be traced back to you. If you do not wish to participate in diagnostic data collection, you may disable the Extension or remove it from Chrome at any time. Your Gmail data (including replies sent via this Extension) remains under the control of Gmail and Google's privacy policy.

If you have questions about this privacy policy, please contact us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (and in fact, collect no personal information at all).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
